GP Ballando Ltd was founded by Giovanni Pernice to create a welcoming dance community across the UK and Ireland. Giovanni is a BAFTA winner, Strictly Come Dancing Champion, Ballando con le Stelle Champion, Guinness World Record holder (x2!), and Italian Open Latin Dance Champion! He’s had multiple sold out tours across the UK and Ireland – but teaching has always held a special importance to him.
Sharing his knowledge and joy of dance is what Ballando is all about.
We believe dance is for everyone, and want you all to feel like you can do it! Our focus isn’t just the steps – it’s about having fun, building confidence and inspiring you to challenge yourself to do more than you thought you could. It’s that ethos that has recently seen us awarded BEST DANCE WORKOUT 2026 at the British Fitness Awards!

Bigger and better than ever – Gio is bringing his dance classes all round the UK and Ireland once again!
Classes are open to everyone – whether you’ve danced before, have two left feet, fancy trying something new or just want to come for the fun – we’d love to have you there. It’s a really welcoming, positive environment where we aim to build confidence and make sure everyone has a great time.
Come and learn from the very best – you’ll dance, you’ll learn and you’ll definitely have loads of fun! Giovanni’s focus is always making sure you leave a class feeling like you have achieved something and enjoyed doing it. Dance styles are based around the Ballroom and Latin styles you’re used to seeing on Strictly Come Dancing, but sometimes he mixes it up with a bit of a Showdance flair as well – you may end up doing part of a routine from one of his sell out shows!
